 About Me Mini Blog

Hello I am Amanda!

Born and raised Oregonian, I grew up living on a farm working hard and having fun. I have been riding horses for the last 12 years, in 4-H, on High School Teams and recreationally. I have an amazingly supportive family and a loving fiancé who I enjoy spending time with.

I excelled, enjoyed and graduated from Oregon City High School in 2010 to then realize the "beaten path" to college was not mine to take. I spent the next year perusing missions and traveling. I learned a lot about myself and things I couldn’t have learned in a text book. It’s such a blessing in life to use your gifts and passions to help others, and that is exactly what massage is for me. Having the opportunity to use what I am passionate about to help others feel more comfortable in their bodies will ultimately give them the freedom to do more of what they enjoy as well.

Massage is my passion, but East West College of the Healing Arts helped me develop the "skills to pay the bills." I graduated East West's 800 hour program with a 4.0 as they helped fuel my passion by understanding massage in a greater way. I have since begun my journey as a professionally Licensed Massage Therapist and I am currently working as a supportive body worker at Tree City Chiropractic alongside two very talented chiropractors.

I have chosen to build my practice of massage on the understanding that the human body is beautifully and wonderfully made and I believe with supportive body work, a lifestyle of wellness is attainable and I am certain every-body deserves it.
